It's a very frustrating experience and the reason for this is that you usually don't remember what you want to buy when you're shopping. You can avoid this problem by creating a shopping checklist before you go shopping. The idea is to write down everything that you need to buy and then make a list of the items that you need to buy. When you go shopping, simply check the list that you created.
